Auckland Transport is warning users against an online scam where people fraudulently try to sell AT HOP cards.

The council agency sent an alert on its app earlier today, warning AT customers of posts claiming to sell a year of travel on AT services for just $4.

Posts are circulating on social media, luring users with a tempting offer to buy an AT Hop card for only $4 and receive a full year of free travel. It also directs the users to unknown site.
It is important to notify our esteemed customers that this is simply a scam.
